One of my very favourite places to eat, the food never ever disappoints, it really is always completely delicious. The drinks are perfectly chilled and the fireplace roars in the winter. Love this happy, cosy pub.
Lovely old pub with good beers and food. Always a welcome even as an occasional visitor. Cosy open fire which is brilliant this time of the year.
Excellent chef at this pub, with unusual gourmet menus as well a classic pub grub. Open fire one end and restaurant the other. Lovely garden. Very olde worlde and lovely on a winter's night or a summer evening.
Proper old fashioned local with great food. No compromises to modernity or pretention just a cosy bar and small restaurant. Bursting to the seams with local people enjoying the company and a good pint. Food is fresh, traditional fare well prepared and presented. A small menu ensures every dish is prepared from scratch, to order.
Good beer and food. Lovely garden as it was a sunny day. Nice thing they have an outside tap for cyclists to refill water bottles outside so don't have to leave you bike. (Found the pub on a bike ride)
